🌟 A Truly Wonderful Day! 🌟

✔️ 7 overflowing dumpsters of waste removed
🚛 3 large trucks by the San Jose Conservation Corps ram
🙌 Over 55 energetic volunteers, proudly wearing uniforms, worked hand in hand to clean up the entire neighborhood!
After many days and weeks of careful planning for our second Community Clean-Up Day, and learning from the experience of our first, today we officially came together for a meaningful and impactful event!
🌾Thursday, October 16:
Traffic control points were set up outside the Multicultural Intelligence Training Center (MITC) at 3737 Madeline Drive, San José, marking the beginning of our preparations.
📦 📅 Friday, October 17:
All the necessary equipment and materials were prepped and ready for the big day.
🌄 Saturday, October 18 – Event Day:
At 6:30 AM sharp, the An Tôn Meditation Center (ATMC) volunteer team arrived to organize the site and begin traffic coordination.
By early morning after 7:30 am, a line of cars stretched from Madeline to El Campo, Alum Rock, and Kirk as residents eagerly brought their household waste to be dropped off — waiting patiently for hours in line. This powerful collective action reminds us of the importance of working together to keep our city greener, cleaner, and more beautiful.
