Sơn Đẹp Ở Cây Xăng, Đường Monterey

After a period of rainfall in early February, the sun has finally appeared on Saturday, February 15th, 2025, giving the residents of San Jose, particularly those in District 2, the opportunity to participate in enhancing the city's beauty. Today, we are creating a mural at ARCO gas station located at 5498 Monterey Rd, San Jose CA 95111. The volunteers from An Ton Meditation Center woke up early on Saturday to join the diverse crowd gathered at ARCO. People of different backgrounds, colors, and ages came together with one goal: to beautify the city of San Jose. The mural itself was simple yet vibrant, with five colorful triangles painted side by side to create a mosaic effect and brighten up the area around the gas station. The owner of the station, who is Vietnamese and donning a traditional cone hat, came out to greet the mayor and express gratitude for their support by taking a photo together. In just a few hours of volunteering time, we have brought something meaningful to this area and provided support for a small business owner while also adding to the beauty of Silicon Valley.
